Usage Tips
Use this play when you have already identified man coverage pre-snap, since the vertical releases only create separation against man defenders playing with inside or outside leverage
Check safety depth before the snap, if both safeties are deep and rotated you are likely facing a bracket shell that can double one of your vertical routes, so target the route away from the safety help
Motion a receiver pre-snap to confirm man coverage by watching if a defender follows across the formation, this locks in your decision to run Double Bracket instead of checking to a zone beater
Hot route the backside route into a quick out or slant if you see press man on the boundary, this gives you a rhythm throw if the deep shots are covered
Pair this play in your called sequence with Cover 6 Willie or Cover 1 Robber from the same set on defense, and on offense sequence it after a quick game concept so defenders start jumping short routes and get beat over the top on this call
