Usage Tips
Call Cover 9 on early downs or obvious pass sets where you expect the offense to test the deep middle or run four verticals. Pre-snap, identify if the offense is stacking or bunching receivers to one side, then adjust your safety alignment to match the strength before the snap. Use your flat defenders to squeeze quick game and hitches, then rely on the deep safeties to rob any post or seam route that tries to split the zone.
