Jet Sweep

Watch pre-snap for the defensive end and outside linebacker leverage on the play side edge, since a fast flowing end can blow this up for a loss. Check for run support from the corner over the jet motion receiver, as an aggressive corner crashing down can string the play out of bounds. Look at safety depth before the snap, since a safety cheating up into the box signals the defense expects the jet sweep and will spill it to the sideline. Post-snap, key on user controlled defenders flowing hard toward the sideline flow, as this is a common counter to jet sweep concepts in competitive play. If the front seven is disciplined and holds gap integrity without overpursuing, the play has minimal room and should be countered with the interior run game instead.
