Defensive Reads

Zone shells with linebackers sitting deep in their drops can still leave the interior gaps clean, so read linebacker eye discipline at the snap to confirm the lane is there.

Check the box count before the snap since this is a true dive and needs six or fewer defenders in the box to hit efficiently.
Use the trips side vertical routes as window dressing to bait linebackers and safeties into abandoning run support responsibilities.
Pair this with 60 Go or Streak from the same set so defenses respect the deep shots and start playing softer fronts against the run.
Run this on early downs, first and second and short yardage situations, to keep defenses honest and set up RPO or PA Read looks later in the drive.
Avoid calling this into known run blitz fronts with stacked linebackers since the dive has no lead blocker to handle extra rushers.
