PA Post Shot from Pistol Tight Slots is a play-action shot play built off a hard fake to the HB, holding linebackers and safeties for a split second while three vertical routes stress the defense downfield. The outside receiver runs a deep post over the middle, the slot runs a corner route to the boundary, and the inside receiver breaks off a deep in/crosser that clears underneath, giving the quarterback a true high-low stretch on the safety and a horizontal clear-out route as a checkdown option. This is a man beater first (the crosser wins vs. man leverage while the post and corner attack single-high safeties) but it can also punish zone defenses that bite on the run fake, and the primary read progression is post to corner to the deep crosser.

Usage Tips
Call this on early downs like 1st and 10 or 2nd and short so the play fake actually holds linebackers and the box safety
Look for single-high safety shells like Cover 1 or Cover 3 pre-snap since the post route has a direct angle to split the safety
If you see two deep safeties (Cover 2 or Cover 4), work the corner route to the boundary immediately since the post will run into help
Motion the slot receiver pre-snap to identify man versus zone, if the defender follows across the formation you know you have a man beater matchup on the crosser
Pair this shot play with HB Dive or HB Zone earlier in a series so linebackers start creeping up and bite harder on the play-action fake here
Use the deep crosser as your checkdown against zone drops if both the post and corner are blanketed, it clears out underneath and picks up yards after the catch
