Sim Volumedistribution Rn Offense is a 145 play specialty offense that funnels nearly everything through one formation family: 128 of its plays (88%) live in Shotgun across 14 different sets. That is not a spread book with a Shotgun package attached, it is a Shotgun book with three small satellite formations bolted on. Goal Line Offense gets 9 plays in a single set (6%), Singleback contributes 5 plays in one set (3%), and Hail Mary carries 3 plays across 2 sets (2%). With only 4 formations total, this is a smaller book than most of the game's 26 offensive specialty playbooks, and the depth is entirely vertical rather than horizontal: you get fewer places to line up but 14 distinct Shotgun looks to rotate through.
The concept list tells you how the Shotgun volume is meant to be used. Play Action and Pass Play are the backbone, with Spot and Flat giving you short quick game answers, Cover 3 Beater built in for the zone shells you see most in competitive lobbies, and Motion listed as its own concept so pre-snap movement is part of the design rather than something you have to improvise. The run game is not an afterthought either: Power, Power Run, Counter, Toss, Dive and Run Play all appear, which means gap scheme runs out of Shotgun rather than a separate under center run menu. Personnel spans 23 (2 RB, 3 TE, 0 WR), 11 (1 RB, 1 TE, 3 WR), 12 (1 RB, 2 TE, 2 WR) and 10 (1 RB, 0 TE, 4 WR), so the same formation family can go heavy or empty out to four receivers.
What you get by picking Sim Volumedistribution Rn Offense over a balanced book is repetition and tempo. Because 88% of the plays share one formation family, your audible package can be built almost entirely from Shotgun sets, which means you rarely burn a play clock resetting personnel and your opponent rarely gets a formation tell. The short list Goal Line Offense package covers the FB Dive style situations inside the 2, the lone Singleback set gives you one true under center change of pace like 0 1 Trap, and Hail Mary with Goal Post handles end of half desperation. Everything else is Shotgun, from 23 Zone Open style gap runs to Play Action shots off them.
This playbook wants a quarterback who is comfortable operating exclusively from Shotgun with quick decision making and enough mobility to keep Play Action rollouts alive, since 128 of the 145 plays start with him five yards back. You need a running back who can handle gap scheme carries (Power, Counter, Toss, Dive) from depth and still release as a receiver in 11 and 10 personnel, plus an interior line with the run block power ratings to pull and wall in Shotgun Power. Pick Sim Volumedistribution Rn Offense if you are a player who wants to master one formation family deeply, disguise run and pass from identical looks, and use formation subs and motions instead of formation variety. If you prefer under center play action, heavy I Form runs or a wide formation tree, this is the wrong book.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just Sim Volumedistribution Rn Offense.
Build your entire audible package from four of the 14 Shotgun sets: one 11 personnel look for Spot and Flat on early downs, one 10 personnel look for four receiver Cover 3 Beater shots on third and long, one 12 or 23 heavy look for Power Run and Counter, and one you only use for Play Action.
Use the Shotgun gap runs (Power, Counter, Toss) on first and second down between the 20s, then come back to Play Action from the same Shotgun set on the next first down when the linebackers start flowing early.
Save the Goal Line Offense set and its FB Dive style calls for inside the 3 and short yardage only. Nine plays in one set is not enough volume to live in, and going there early tells your opponent exactly what is coming.
Call the lone Singleback set (0 1 Trap) as a changeup after a long Shotgun drive, specifically on second and medium, to force the defense out of the Shotgun specific blitz it has been dialing up.
Lean on the Motion concept every drive to diagnose man or zone before the snap, then hot route your slot to a sit or flat against zone and let the Spot concept work the void, rather than guessing route combos blind.
Keep Hail Mary and its Goal Post call strictly for end of half and end of game. With only 3 plays across 2 sets, it is a situational tool, not a package.
