PA Fk Bubble Wheel is a play-action shot play out of Pistol Trips Y Over designed to attack aggressive zone and man coverage with a double move on the outside. The fake handoff freezes linebackers and safeties, giving the outside receiver time to release vertically on the wheel route while the bubble action underneath from the trips side occupies underneath defenders and holds the flow of the defense. The primary read progression starts with the wheel route breaking off the fake bubble motion, then works to the intermediate crossers coming from the Y Over concept if the wheel is capped, and finally checks down to the shallow bubble or flat as a last resort against pressure.
