Key the number two receiver to the trips or twins side, if he releases outside and up the numbers your underneath defender should carry him while the deep third defender rotates over top. Look for empty formations or quick game RPOs, since the mugged linebackers dropping late can be attacked with hitches and quick outs before the zone match fully sets. Post snap, identify any rub or pick concepts designed to cross your match defenders, this coverage is vulnerable to natural picks if your underneath zone defenders do not communicate handoffs.
