Skinny Post

The Skinny Post tag identifies plays built around the skinny post route, a narrow-angle post that splits Cover 2 and Cover 4 safeties and attacks the void between the hook defenders and deep help. It spans Singleback, Shotgun, Pistol, and Weak I formations across sets like Ace, Doubles, Split Offset, and Pro, covering concepts such as Skinny Posts, PA Skinny Post, and Frogs Skinny Posts. Competitive players use this tag to quickly find reliable zone beaters and play-action shots that pair with hot routes and pre-snap reads against two-high shells.
