RRE

The RRE tag marks defensive formations and sets that deploy a right rush end, the edge defender aligned on the right side of the front and built to set the edge or attack the quarterback off the snap. It appears across 9 formations and 64 sets, including 4-3 Over, 46 Bear, 3-4 Odd, Nickel Wide, and 2-4-5 Load Dbl Mug. It applies at the formation and set level rather than to individual plays. Filter by RRE to find fronts that fit your edge rusher, then stack nano blitzes, contain responsibilities, and pre-snap line shifts around that right-side end.
