PA Y Leak is a play-action shot play out of Shotgun Split Pro Near that disguises run action before releasing the Y (tight end) on a delayed leak route into the void vacated by flowing linebackers. The backfield fake pulls linebackers up while outside receivers stretch the field vertically, creating a natural zone beater since the Y leak sits down in the intermediate hole once the fake sells. Primary read progression starts with the leaking tight end against zone drops, then works to the outside vertical routes if the leak is taken away, with the deep shots serving as the alert versus aggressive man coverage or overplayed run fits.
