94 Will out of I Form Slot Flex is a Power run play designed to hit off tackle to the weak side (Will side) of the formation. Defensive Reads

Post-snap, identify whether the defensive end or edge defender is being kicked out cleanly, a clean kick out means the alley is open for the HB to bounce outside. User-controlled linebackers who shoot gaps aggressively can blow up this Power scheme before the blockers get set, so avoid this play against defenses stacking the box with a spy or extra blitzer. If the defense shows a two high safety shell but rotates down quickly after the snap, that signals a run blitz and this play can get gashed for negative yardage if the timing is off.
Usage Tips
Use pre-snap motion or a hard count to see if the defense shifts its box count before the snap.
Check for light boxes with six or fewer defenders before calling this play, since Power runs need a numbers advantage at the point of attack.
Pair 94 Will with PA Dagger or PA FB Flat later in the drive so the defense respects the run fake and opens up the play-action passing game.
Attack aggressive linebackers who crash hard on inside zone reads, since the kick out block on 94 Will can seal them and spring the cutback lane.
Use this play on early downs in normal or short yardage to stay on schedule, then mix in Double Slants or HB Dive Alert Smoke to keep the defense guessing between run and quick pass.
