Usage Tips
Call Cover 3 Cloud on early downs when you expect a run or a quick flat/curl combo since the cloud corner gives extra run support without sacrificing the deep third
Use it against offenses that live on flat routes, hitches, and curl-flat combos because the rolled down corner takes away the easy quick game read
Mix this in after showing Cover 3 Sky a few times so the offense cannot key the corner rolling up versus deep, forcing the quarterback to hold the ball and let your pass rush win
On third and medium, pair Cover 3 Cloud with a disguised blitz look pre snap then bail into the zone drops to bait the quarterback into throwing the flat route right into the cloud defender
Chain this play with Pinch 4 Palms or Tampa 2 in your play calling sequence so receivers see different shell rotations off the same initial alignment and cannot anticipate the coverage
