Overview
The NFL Live Seahawks Defense playbook is functionally identical to its sibling cut, Seahawks Defense. The two share all 424 plays and differ by zero sets, so there is no strategic reason to pick one over the other beyond which sheet you see first in the playbook menu. Treat them as the same book: anything you learn in one carries over one for one to the other.
What you are getting is one of the larger defensive team books in the game, bigger than 92 percent of the 64 defensive team playbooks, spread across 11 formations and 27 sets. The weight is decisively sub package. Nickel is 147 plays (35 percent) across 7 sets and Dime adds 87 plays (21 percent) across 4 sets, which means 56 percent of this playbook is built for third down and obvious passing situations. The front seven work is split between 3-4 at 66 plays (16 percent) and 4-3 at 39 plays (9 percent), with 2-4-5, 3-3-5, 2-5, 4-4, Goal Line Defense, Prevent and Quarter filling out the rest as situational tools.
Concept coverage matches the formation math. Cover 1, Man Coverage, Man To Man and Cover 1 Hole give you the man shell that plays like the sample calls 1 Double TE, 1 Double Slot and 1 Pirate Spy, while Cover 3, Cover 3 Match, Cover 3 Sky, Cover 4 and zone calls such as 3 Rat Zone and 2 Invert Hard Flat give you the single high and quarters answers. Pressure comes labeled: Blitz, LB Blitz, Safety Blitz and Corner Blitz, with 3 Deep Blitz and CB Bench Blitz as the sample edge heat. The 2-5 personnel wrinkle appears in only 12 of the game's 236 playbooks, so opponents will not have practiced reading it. This is a game plan for a user who wants to live in Nickel, rotate coverage shells pre snap, and mix corner and safety pressure off the same looks.
Scheme Fit
This playbook wants a roster built from the slot outward: two man coverage corners who can survive on an island for Cover 1 and Cover 1 Hole, a nickel defender with high man coverage and acceleration, and a free safety with the speed and play recognition to cover the deep middle in Cover 3 Sky. Because Nickel and Dime carry 234 of the 424 plays, your linebacker corps matters less for coverage volume and more for blitz burst, so prioritize block shedding and pursuit on the LB Blitz and Safety Blitz calls, plus one edge rusher with finesse moves to win when only four are coming. Strengths

Weaknesses
- Fifty six percent of the playbook is Nickel and Dime, so a heavy run offense that lines up in jumbo and I formation sets will force you into 4-3 (39 plays) and 4-4 (9 plays across 1 set), which is the thinnest part of the book.
- 4-4 gets only 9 plays in a single set and Goal Line Defense only 13 across 3 sets, so your short yardage and red zone answers are limited enough that a tendency reader will learn them within a few drives.
- The man heavy concept list leans on Cover 1, Cover 1 Hole, Man Coverage and Man To Man, which leaves you exposed to mesh, drag and pick route combos if your user is late reading crossers.
- Prevent and Quarter each carry only 6 plays, so late clock and desperation situations give you almost no variety and opponents can sit on the one deep shell you have available.
- 3-3-5 and 2-4-5 are each one set with 18 plays, so the odd front nickel looks that disguise pressure best cannot be rotated enough to hide your blitz source over a full game.
Usage Tips
Build your primary audible package entirely out of Nickel, pulling one Cover 1 call, one Cover 3 Match or Cover 3 Sky call, and one Corner Blitz from its 7 sets so every second and long and third and medium snap comes from the same personnel.
Save Dime and the Big Dime 3-2-6 and Big Dime 4-1-6 sets for third and 8 or longer and for two minute drives, where the extra defensive back beats a Nickel linebacker matched on a slot.
Use 3-4 as your first and second down front against balanced personnel and audible into 4-3 or 4-4 only when the offense shows two back or extra tight end sets, since those fronts total just 48 plays combined.
Mix in 2-5 and the 3-3-5 set on third down as a change up, not a base call, because their rarity is the value and repeated use lets an opponent learn the pressure lanes.
Reserve Goal Line Defense for inside the 3 yard line and Prevent for end of half snaps with no timeouts, then get straight back to Nickel, since neither has enough plays to survive repeated calls.
