Superstar WR Deep Threat is a 225 play offensive book built around one idea: get a receiver on the field in a spread look and let him win vertically. Shotgun accounts for 156 of those plays (69%) spread across 11 different sets, which is where every core concept lives. Play Action, Spot, Flat, Motion and Cover 3 Beater tags all show up out of those Shotgun sets, so you are working from a single, deep menu rather than hopping between formation families to find an answer. At 225 plays it is larger than 75% of the game's nine Superstar playbooks, and that size is spent on Shotgun depth instead of formation variety.
The supporting cast is small and purposeful. Singleback gives you 24 plays (11%) across just 2 sets, Pistol adds 21 (9%) across 2 sets, I Form contributes 12 (5%) from a single set, and Goal Line Offense covers the 9 short yardage plays (4%) where FB Dive lives. Hail Mary is the rare wrinkle here: 3 plays (1%) across 2 sets, which most books either skip or bury, and it pairs naturally with the deep threat identity when the clock forces a Goal Post attempt. Run game is present but narrow, with Power, Power Run, Counter, Toss and Dive concepts handled mostly by the Pistol and I Form portions and plays like Counter Y and 94 Will.
Choosing Superstar WR Deep Threat over a balanced book means committing to Shotgun as your base and treating everything else as a situational package. Personnel ranges from 10 (1 RB, 0 TE, 4 WR) all the way to 23 (2 RB, 3 TE, 0 WR) and 13 (1 RB, 3 TE, 1 WR), so you can go empty of tight ends to stretch a defense thin or load up heavy at the goal line, but the play count tells you where the game plan actually is. You get concept repetition inside Shotgun: multiple looks at Cross Drag, 689 Hook and Spot style route combos from different sets, which is exactly what you want when you are reading leverage and hunting one on one matchups on the outside.
This book wants an accurate deep ball quarterback with enough mobility to extend on play action rollouts, and at least two receivers who can separate on vertical routes, because 69% Shotgun with 10 and 11 personnel puts them on the field constantly. The run game leans on Power, Counter and Toss out of Pistol and I Form, so you need a decisive one cut back and interior blockers who can pull, plus a fullback worth keeping on the roster for the Goal Line Offense package and FB Dive. Pick Superstar WR Deep Threat if you are comfortable reading coverage from a spread look every snap and want a large 225 play menu of Shotgun concepts rather than a balanced under center attack.
Search every playbook by tag and personnel grouping, not just Superstar WR Deep Threat.
Build your entire audible package out of Shotgun sets, since 156 of 225 plays live there, and pick four sets that share receiver alignments so your motions and hot routes look identical from call to call
Use Pistol and its 2 sets on second and short to sell Power Run and Counter Y from a look the defense has not seen much, then run play action off that same formation on the next series
Save Singleback's 2 sets for early down clock control against blitz heavy users, because the tighter alignments give your back a cleaner path on Toss and Dive than empty Shotgun spacing does
Reach for Goal Line Offense and FB Dive only inside the three, and audible out of it if the defense shows goal line personnel, since 9 plays does not give you enough looks to win a called shot battle down there
Keep Hail Mary in your pocket strictly for end of half and end of game situations, and treat Goal Post as your one shot call rather than a repeatable concept
