Pre-snap, check safety depth and corner alignment on the bunch since press man or tight man match coverage gets exposed by the natural traffic the bunch formation creates for the drag route. Watch for a single high safety rotating late which usually signals man coverage underneath, making the drag and crossing routes the primary targets. This play pairs well with Mtn Slot Mid Screen and HB Screen in the same set since defenders keying on the bunch crossing traffic will bite up on run action or drag routes, opening up screen lanes behind them.
