Set up Export from EA

A few minutes, once

Madden Tools pulls your league's data straight from EA. Once your EA account is linked, it exports your league on its own after every advance and every game played. After that, Madden Tools handles each advance and game for you. There is no app to install and no URL to paste, and it exports your free-agent pool, which the Companion App can't.

Open your league's Commissioner Hub

  1. Open your league and pick Commissioner Hub from the sidebar. The Export from EA card is the first thing on the page.
The Commissioner Hub is there for the people who run the league. Members see the results on the league pages.

Connect your EA account

  1. Click Connect EA account, then Sign in to EA. Sign in with the EA account that is in your franchise.
  2. The EA window ends on a page that does not load. That is expected. Copy the whole address from its address bar, then click Paste from clipboard back on Madden Tools.
  3. Pick your console identity, then your league, and click Connect.
You sign in on EA's own site, so your EA password is never seen by Madden Tools. If EA signs the account out later, the card asks you to reconnect and the steps are the same.

First export

  1. Click Load full season. It carries a Start here tag until your first export lands. That loads every week's schedule and everything your league has played this season, along with rosters, standings and free agents. Give it a minute or two; the card lists what arrived.
At the start of every season, press Load full season once. Madden Tools never runs it on its own, and it is what loads the new season's full schedule.

That's the setup. From here on:

After you play or sim a week, your league needs an export. With Export from EA it happens automatically after each advance and game. Press Update league if you want one right now: it sends the week you just played, the week you are in, rosters and standings together.

With the Companion App, export three things: Weekly Stats for the week you just played, plus Rosters and League Info as your league stands right now. Rosters and League Info ignore the week selector. Weekly Stats is the only export tied to a week, so it must point at the week that was just played.

Is your league's Discord server linked to Madden Tools? Then /ea-connect and /export-now do the same from Discord.

Using the Companion App instead?

The EA Companion App works too, with two limits: no automatic exports, and no free-agent pool. You export from your phone, one week at a time. Its setup has its own page: the Companion App setup guide.
