Set up the Companion App
Get the EA Companion App sending to Madden Tools. The weekly ritual has its own page.
Heads up: the Companion App can't export free agents (an EA bug); free agency is derived from your roster exports instead. Export from EA delivers the full free-agent pool.
Set up
- Install the Madden Companion App on your phone and sign in with the EA account you play the franchise with.
- Copy your league's export URL. It lives on your league's Commissioner page: open your league, pick Commissioner Hub from the sidebar, and copy the URL at the top of the Exports card.
- In the app, pick your league, then League then Export, and paste the URL. The URL never changes, so you can save it, but the app doesn't remember it, so you'll paste it in again each time you reopen the app to export.
That's the setup. Everything else happens each week you play, and it is the same ritual whichever exporter you use:
After you play or sim a week, your league needs an export. With Export from EA it happens automatically after each advance and game. Press Update league if you want one right now: it sends the week you just played, the week you are in, rosters and standings together.
With the Companion App, export three things: Weekly Stats for the week you just played, plus Rosters and League Info as your league stands right now. Rosters and League Info ignore the week selector. Weekly Stats is the only export tied to a week, so it must point at the week that was just played.
